Charles Nicholson built this organ in 1871 for Saint Thomas Wesleyan Church in Glasgow. By Mirrlees it was transferred to the church in Millport (Buteshire) in 1893. This church closed in 2016.
After restoration and expansion, it was placed in the Y Kirken in Holmestrand (Vestfold og Telemark), Norway. There it was placed behind an existing front. The organ was inaugurated in 2021.
